Medical disclaimer
Intended purpose
Tummi is a personal diary app. It helps you record your bowel movements, meals, symptoms and wellbeing, look back on your own entries and share them with your doctor if you choose to.
What Tummi is not
Tummi is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor any disease, and it does not tell you whether you are ill. The comfort score, charts and patterns after meals are simple calculations from your own entries. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not medical measurements.
Always ask a professional
The information in Tummi and on this website is general and cannot replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian. Do not start, stop or change any medicine or diet because of something you saw in Tummi. For children, always talk to a paediatrician.
Emergencies
If you have severe pain, a lot of blood, black and tarry stool or feel very unwell, call 112 (EU), 999 (UK), 911 (US) or your local emergency number right away.
Sources
General information in Tummi is based on public guidance (NHS, NICE) and published studies, which are named in the app. It is reviewed with care but may not reflect every individual situation.
